Representing the infantry gun during the French Revolution, it is the result of the modifications made to various muskets produced since 1765, with all the interchangeable parts from one gun to the other.
The peculiar features of this musket put into evidence the middle band and the front band fixed with screws and the angular frizzen profile. All the metal parts are made of steel, except the pan made of brass; the walnut stock is oil finish.
